1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the APFA (All Pro Football Association) website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively referred to as the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
The APFA Platform provides football enthusiasts, players, coaches, and fans with access to:
- Live and historical game statistics and scores
- Player profiles and performance data
- Team information and league standings
- News and updates about the APFA league
- Player registration and management tools
- Administrative tools for league management
3. User Accounts
Account Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Player Registration
For players wishing to join the APFA, additional registration requirements may apply, including but not limited to: physical examinations, skill assessments, and compliance with league eligibility rules. All player registrations are subject to approval by league officials.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
Permitted Use
You may use the Platform for lawful purposes only, including but not limited to:
- Viewing league statistics and information
- Managing player profiles and registrations
- Participating in league-related discussions
- Accessing educational content about football
Prohibited Activities
You are strictly prohibited from:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Uploading harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity
- Using the Platform for commercial purposes without authorization
5. Content Ownership and Rights
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform, but by submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our services.
APFA Content
All content provided by the APFA, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, statistics, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, APFA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Platform.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Data Protection & Compliance
APFA is committed to complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws. The following outlines our compliance obligations:
European Union
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
For users in the EU, we comply with the GDPR. Under the Digital Omnibus Regulation (2026 update), we have extended breach notification deadlines to 96 hours in certain low-risk cases. We process personal data based on legitimate interests, consent, or contractual necessity.
ePrivacy Directive (Cookie Law)
We use cookies in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive. Low-risk cookies (such as basic analytics) may operate without a banner, provided they do not profile users. For tracking cookies, we obtain prior consent through our Cookie Consent mechanism.
United States Federal Laws
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
Our site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In compliance with COPPA (amended 2026), we do not allow users under 13 to create accounts or participate on our platform. The compliance deadline is April 22, 2026. Under the 2026 amendments, biometric data (facial templates, voiceprints) is now considered "personal information." Our privacy notice includes a written Data Retention Policy as required.
Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
Where applicable, we comply with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act for financial information.
TAKE IT DOWN Act
We comply with the TAKE IT DOWN Act (enforced starting May 19, 2026) and maintain clear processes for the rapid removal of non-consensual intimate imagery, including content involving minors.

Compliance Checklist
- Privacy Policy: We maintain a comprehensive Privacy Policy detailing what data is collected, why, and who it is shared with (including AI model trainers).
- Children's Privacy: For services accessed by minors, we implement the April 2026 COPPA retention disclosures and obtain verifiable parental consent.
- Data Subject Requests (DSAR): We have workflows to process user requests to delete or correct their data within 30-45 days as required by applicable laws.
- Cookie Consent: Our Consent Management Platform (CMP) detects user region and adjusts cookie banners accordingly.
- Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms: We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other universal opt-out mechanisms as required by state laws by mid-2026.
